The Average Class Room

This weekend, Pastor Thomas and I visited one of BTC’s newest classes. Way past many hills of rain forest and tea plantations, you will find this little class room tucked behind a church in the small village of Kapsabet. Although it is nothing more than a few sheets of metal and a few pieces of hand chopped timber, it is now a meeting place for people to learn more about God and how to teach the bible.

Complete with its dirt floors, small benches, and  natural lighting it looks quite identical to every other church building in Africa. Although the building might not look like much, these people have committed hearts desiring to learn more about their Maker.

So good to hear from you. I only wish I could tell you how much of a blessing you are. Are you well?

Thank you Linda. I am doing very well. I’ve been blessed with good health since I returned and am excited about the new work I am doing in Kenya.

All they need is one book and that is the Bible, then they learn how to go out and teach others about the Word. A fancy class room would not add another thing to this picture. Wonderful blessings and prayers for these believers and their new teacher. Love, Lilly
