Teaching Ms. Caroline

It is Tuesday and Caroline has done it yet again: homemade pizza. Teaching her has actually taught me a lot about African cooking. For example, in Africa, there are no such things as measuring cups or measuring spoons. We had to study the difference between teaspoons, tablespoons, cups and how to convert them in mls. I told her I would give her a set as a reward for all her efforts once she has finished learning how to use them.

We also attempted crepes. The concept of flipping something up in the air so you can catch it with a scalding hot pan made her laugh quite hard. After laughing at me for a good ten minutes, she attempted and by the end of the batter was having success. I still think she sees the concept as odd and incredibly unnecessary though.

Good for you and Caroline, this is the most luscious pizza I have ever seen. It looks like you even have a real pizza pan. I understand that real measuring cups and spoons are on their way to you. I send my Christmas love, (maybe I will just bring real hugs and kisses very soon)! Thank our precious Lord for CHRISTmas, Lilly

Looks good. You are a good teacher in many things. The things we take for granted like measuring cups, spoons etc would probably cover a long list. God Bless you for your efforts in bringing Christ to the many villagers. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas with your family.
