Nandi Hills Discipleship

The team of BTCP students in Kosoiywo is equipped, and eager for the next phase of discipleship. Basically, I spent two days showing them how to train their old students to disciple others. These people really have a heart for teaching God’s Word.  I was only expecting two or three of them to volunteer for the job and 19 showed up! We… (more…)

Nandi Hills Certificate Ceremony

The day finally came for the Biblical Foundation Course Certificate Ceremony! 118 indigenous people, reached during evangelism, have successfully completed a 12 month Bible study course taught to them by my students. Godwin, one of my friends from Uganda, was the ‘international’ guest speaker and encouraged them to be humble and continue learning more about Jesus. Below is a video… (more…)

It has taken a lot of personal commitment and personal finances on their parts… (more…)

In one year’s time: a Bible school has been started for pastors and church leaders (Julius, Nelson, and Samuel deserve much accreditation for this portion because they are volunteering as teachers);  I have trained the… (more…)

Pray for a Firm Grounding in the Word

My students and I set out for door to door evangelism, looking for new students my students will teach. One thing that breaks our hearts is how many people there are in Western Kenya who claim to be Christians, and go to church, but have never heard the gospel. Almost all of the people I have spoken to believe they… (more…)

The Search for Bibles Begins

After spending a week in prayer over the issue, I have decided to look into buying bibles for the work camps in the Nandi hills, and if possible, providing each house with a copy of God’s Word. After that, if the women there want to start a biblical foundation class, I want to teach them. It is a very long drive… (more…)
