Sharing Christmas with the Lost

kitale-kenya“Then the angel said to them, ‘Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.” Luke 2:10-11

What better way to spend Christmas holiday than telling people the good news of Christ and sharing with them more about the holiday they celebrate! Nikki, my friend from Texas, and I have been going door to door sharing the Good News with women and giving the an opportunity to join Bible studies and churches where they can be taught the Word of God. Pictured below is a lady by the name of Ann. She repented of her sins and asked Jesus to be the Lord of her life yesterday. Please keep her and many others in your prayers.

In the mean time, our evangelism efforts were slightly delayed due to a medical emergency. One of my good friends was rushed to the doctor, hospitalized, misdiagnosed, and then prescribed medication that didn’t even match the diagnosis–welcome to Kenya’s healthcare system. I rushed to the hospital while Nikki was at an orphanage, examined my friend, and God showed me the problem. The doctor argued with me fiercely and was very defensive, but eventually one surgeon listed. Praise the Lord. Surgery was successful. The hospital wasn’t even able to preform an x-ray before hand, so I just had to have faith that my conclusion was correct and came from God and was not my own faulty work! After my friend was discharged, Nikki saved the day when she caught one last dangerous medication error! All I can say is that I saw the Lord working through the whole ordeal.
