Pray for Bungoma Discipleship

Matthew 9:37-38 “Then He said to His disciples, ‘The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”

If there is any problem faced while doing ministry in Kenya, it is that the harvest is great, and the workers are few.

Bishop Protus of Cornerstone Christian Fellowship in Bungoma requested if there was some way that a 12 month long Biblical foundation class could be offered to his congregation. I was very eager to help, but as always, my hands were tied down with a lot of commitments. So I prayed that God would provide an extra laborer for this task. One of my friends, Duncan, stepped up and said he would train teachers there if I showed him how to lead a teacher training. So, he has been coming over to my house, practicing his teaching skills, and then going to train a group of eight teachers in Bungoma. Pictured to the right is Emmanuel. He is one of the school teachers Duncan taught how to teach the course. He did an outstanding job teaching on Sunday. Please pray for him and the rest as they start disciplining others this week. Pray that the Lord moves their students to help with evangelism in their area and that they start disciplining others as well.
