Mattaw Children’s School

School is out for the weekend, so all the children are busy playing today and catching up on chores. But, for the remainder of the week, they attend the school at Mattaw Children’s Village. The ministry believes it is important that each of these children receive an outstanding  education. So, instead of sending them to the private schools in Kitale, they built their own private school. The teachers there are all Kenyans. I got to run around with all the children during PE the other day.

I’m glad the ministry believes education is important. Love the pictures you post. God is using you there in Kenya. Keeping you in my prayers.

Thank you Kerry. Those children really value their school too. They scrub it every day after class lets out…from top to bottom. I even caught them repainting chalk boards one weekend.

Your welcome Al. I enjoy sharing.

I spent the whole afternoon playing with Georgie, but unforgivably forgot my camera! I wish I had pictures for you. He might be the most ticklish 3 year old I have ever met.

Like your blog, just noticed the “full screen place” to click to enlarge the photos and wow, does it show the detail now. Bless your heart for the work you do.
