Leaning on the Equator

Kenya's Equator

Leaning on the Equator

Merry Christmas everyone. My Parent’s have finally landed in Kenya! This is a picture of us crossing the equator into the Northern Hemisphere. They greatly enjoyed the scenic six hour trip to Mattaw. All the farmers are busy harvesting their maze and drying it in the sun. You could smell the aroma of roasting corn all the way to Kitale. We passed herds of Buffalo, zebra, and even a lake full of flamingos on our way home.

Your Dad looks very excited to be crossing the equator. I can’t quite identify the dance he and the other gentleman are doing, but it would be worth a lot to see a video clip of it for his blogger friends to see.

I truely hope their visit goes well and you can get a little rest from the riggors of tending to the kiddos needs. I bet the youngsters will steal your parents hearts.

Merry Christmas and a happy new Year

Love your blog. All of us out here in the blogisphere really appreciate you taking the time and expe nding the energy to let us know what is going on. The Equator sign was very interesting to me. 9100 ft. elevation. At that elevation the oxygen is starting to get a bit thin, isn’t it?

Thank you for all you do.
