First Week Home

Hi everyone! I am felling much better now. Thank you for your prayers.

I spent yesterday having lunch with my next door neighbor. She attended the same university as me, went to the church across the street from mine, and lived in the town next to me, but we never met until we were living across the street from each other in Africa. We had a good time talking about how much we miss Kitale. She will be flying home to Africa next week.

After this, I had a wonderful time with Eldorado’s Backyard Bible Club. I had heard a lot about them from Jim and Melony Roche, so it was a blessing to finally spend some time with these kids. I don’t know how many of them come from Christian families, but it was a joy to see them learning about Christ, memorizing scripture, and having fun.

Sounds like you are coming back up to speed, Elizabeth. It gladens my heart to get such happy recolletions of your recent days near San Angelo, but speed up at a watchful and controlled rate. There will be many demands on your time and the need to raise funds, but go a little slow until you are back at full strength.

God bless you and your work.

Get well soon. I am praying for you.
