Brotherly Love

Psalms 133

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious oil upon the head, coming down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard, coming down upon the edge of his robes. It is like the dew of Hermon coming down upon the mountains of Zion; for there the LORD commanded the blessing—life forever.

One of the BTCP students has been having horrible pain flair up in his eye every time he reaches Sipi Falls for class. He travels around three hours to make it to class and then sits there and suffers in silence. Last week, students said “let’s stop class and pray for him! Why should we wait?” It was a very big encouragement for him to see that his classmates didn’t want to continue when he couldn’t focus. This is just one of the many examples I’ve seen of students starting to care for each other. Both those in Soroti and Sipi Falls are starting to develop close friendships and a since of community and unity that is centered on studying God’s Word.
